Pivot: Connecting People, Purpose, and Progress
Hi, I’m Megan Honan — a community builder, organizer, and mom of three who’s passionate about creating access, joy, and opportunity where it’s needed most. I’m the founder of Pivot, a community-centered initiative focused on food, equity, and shared spaces that serve real people and real needs.
At Pivot, I wear many hats — from launching urban garden projects to organizing pop-ups that showcase local makers. I’m driven by the belief that everyone deserves a seat at the table. My work blends grassroots collaboration with behind-the-scenes strategy, including building garden networks that connect families and volunteers through shared plots, food bank contributions, and hands-on education. I create community activations — whether that’s a bingo tote at a market, a garage sale with chai + extreme air hockey competitions, or a street corner pop-up — all rooted in care and making things feel good while they do good.
Leadership & Values
I serve on the Board of Directors for Washington Vocational Services, supporting employment and independence for individuals with disabilities. My focus is on inclusive community-building and expanding opportunities through creative partnerships.
As a proud ally, my work often intersects with disability rights, language justice, and equity. I’m committed to lifting up others in authentic, collaborative ways.
Because good business isn’t just about profits — it’s about people. When businesses put community, equity, and care at the center, that’s when they become truly great.
Pivot helps organizations and communities build sustainable success by leading with a people-forward mindset — because doing good and doing well go hand in hand.
If that resonates, let’s build something meaningful together.
